Accepted payment methods
Electronic payments carry a disclosed convenience fee paid by the payer. Cash, checks, and money orders are recorded in the same ledger with no processing fee. Each method produces a receipt and a reconciliation entry.

The plan rate is 5% on the Standard Plan, 4% on the Preferred Plan, and negotiated on Enterprise. Each payment is charged the percentage rate or the minimum fee, whichever is greater. It is never both, and nothing is added on top of the percentage. Published rates.
Receipts and records across channels
Payments made through the portal, a terminal, or the mail are recorded with the same transaction record, status, receipt, and audit entry.

Payment method questions
Card: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express, credit and debit. Wallet: Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Cash App. Bank: ACH direct debit. In person, terminals accept EMV chip, contactless tap, and magstripe.
Cash, checks, and money orders accepted at your counter or by mail are recorded in GovPayPlan by Cashier users. No processing fee applies. They appear in the same reconciliation view as electronic payments, with one receipt trail. Offline funds are deposited through your agency’s existing banking process.
Yes. Portals are built to WCAG 2.1 Level AA and support more than 100 languages. Interface text, instructions, and receipts display in the payer’s selected language.
